Deburring

The selection of the optimum diameter-dependent speed is of crucial importance, as only grinding stars operated at this speed can fully exploit their true strength, namely their high flexibility, to the benefit of the deburring process. Even heavily profiled, sawn parts are deburred within seconds without leaving behind visible wire hairs (often when using wire brushes) or invisible residues (often when using nylon brushes), which either have to be blown off in a separate process or may interfere with or even make subsequent electroplating processes impossible. The dimensional accuracy of the workpieces is ensured by deburring with the ORIGINAL-KEMPER-SCHLEIFSTERN® is not affected.

The grinding machine STARMAX® neo can be integrated into the workflow as a stand-alone machine, whereby it can be controlled either manually or automatically with the workpiece to be deburred. The decision is made in each individual case based on the local technical possibilities. It can be equipped with grinding stars on one or both sides.

The cost of the small investment into a STARMAX® neo machine can be neglected in view of the high result of rationalization.
