smoothin and deburring of plastic parts in seconds

Burning or smearing will not occur if used correctly.

Depending on the surface and shape of the workpiece, these sanding stars are available in different diameters and grit sizes and are driven either by commercially available and in many cases existing hand-held sanding machines, pneumatic sanders or by the stationary, infinitely adjustable sanding machine STARMAX® neo (see photo).

The selection of the optimum diameter-dependent speed is of crucial importance, as only grinding stars operated at this speed can fully exploit their true strength, namely their high flexibility, to the benefit of the deburring process. Even heavily profiled, sawn parts are deburred within seconds without leaving behind visible wire hairs (often when using wire brushes) or invisible residues (often when using nylon brushes), which either have to be blown off in a separate process or may interfere with or even make subsequent further processing operations impossible.

The dimensional accuracy of the workpieces is not impaired by deburring with the  ORIGINAL-KEMPER-SCHLEIFSTERN® .

The grinding machine STARMAX® neo can be integrated into the workflow as a stand-alone machine, whereby it can be controlled either manually or automatically with the workpiece to be deburred. The decision is made in each individual case based on the user’s technical capabilities. It can be equipped with abrasive stars of the same diameter on one or both sides.

The cost of the small investment into a STARMAX® neo machine can be neglected in view of the high result of rationalization.

The  ORIGINAL-KEMPER-SCHLEIFSTERN® , in conjunction with the drive machines described, offers a flexible and cost-effective solution to deburring problems in the area below large industrial systems and therefore also enables manufacturers of medium and small series to tap into the sought-after rationalization potential.
